Stossel has received 19 Emmy Awards and has been honored five times for excellence in consumer reporting by the National Press Club. Other honors include the George Polk Award for Outstanding Local Reporting and the George Foster Peabody Award.

Political parties spend millions of dollars to try and persuade you to cast a ballot for their candidate. But there’s more to it than just convincing people. First they obsess about whether you’re worth convincing.

Then they work on how to actually get voters to go to the polls.

Why do people -- especially young people -- eagerly buy books about responsibility?

"There's just an absolute starvation for the other side of the story," Peterson says. "There are no rights, technically speaking, without responsibilities. And all we've had for 60 years is a dialogue about rights. Well, that leaves a hole ... in people's hearts," he says.

Stossel interviews people brave enough to speak out, like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who is on an Al Qaeda “Wanted Dead or Alive” hit list, and Bosch Fawstin, who won the "Draw Mohammad" cartoon event in Garland, Texas that was attacked by Islamic gunmen. They argue that if Americans want freedom, everyone must refuse to be censored by violent extremists.

Oliver believes in “the most local governance, which is self-governance.”

He wants government to stay out of our lives.

He plans to privatize welfare, end social security, cut federal spending, and much more!

Chris Rufo is known as an anti-woke crusader.

Why?

Because as a reporter, Rufo discovered that critical race theory is being taught in schools and that some teachers are forced to take white privilege training.

For covering that, his critics say he’s a villain. The New Yorker even argues he "invented the conflict over critical race theory.”

But Rufo seems to enjoy the criticism, and now he has real power in Florida because Gov. Ron DeSantis made him a trustee of a public university.

One thing for sure: people don’t always vote based on their knowledge of the issues. Stossel learns this all too well when he shows people on the street pictures of prominent politicians. Many don’t even recognize the Vice President.
